Each fall our Eagles participate in a run / walk-a-thon style fundraiser for the school. Each student asks family members or close friends / neighbors to "sponsor" them with a donation as they run or walk from bridge to bridge on the sidewalk near the school during their PE time one day. Each child keeps track of how many laps they make and we celebrate with music and parents supporting them and cheering them on. This is the one main fundraiser the school does each year. As an incentive, the PTAC group sets an annual goal and if the students reach that goal, they get to put Principal Grubbs on the roof for the day shortly after the event!
